Save the Children of Gaza March! Spice up your new year and make your voice heard this weekend with a protest and rally at the Old Town Plaza. It will protest escalating conflict of U.S./Israeli forces occupying the Gaza Strip. After beginning at the Plaza, the march proceeds to Lockheed Martin Extreme Screen (TM)(Irony) Dynamax Theater (1801 Mountain NW). A slew of local politicians and activists will speak at the event, and is sponsored by Another Jewish Voice, Middle East Peace and Justice Alliance, Islamic Center of New Mexico and Stop the War Machine. If you feel strongly about the never-ending conflict over-thereabouts, now would be an opportune time to express it. The rally takes place this Saturday, January 10th from noon to 2 p.m. ¡Viva la revolución!
