In last week's Best of Burque issue, most voters cast their ballots for a mechanic named Jessica B. Unfortunately, no one could agree on how to spell her last name. Thankfully, Jessica Bourque herself called me to give me the scoop. Bourque used to work for Tom Quirk Automotive, but she was laid off last June due to a non-work-related foot injury. Bourque—who performs in the Burlesque Noir troupe under the stage name Hot Wheels (no, I'm not making this up)—is currently doing freelance mechanic work.
