Nowadays the economy is even affecting the blood for beer biz. Yesterday our controller sent out this oozing nugget: “Our regular customer for nearly a decade, ZLB Bioplasma, has to stop running ads with us until December because they have an overstock of plasma. This seems to be due to the economy. Everyone is donating plasma to get some cash in their pocket.” Yeesh. While we’re on the topic, here’s a link to an article Steven Robert Allen wrote back in 2004. It’s about all the ways a person can sell their body. Maybe it will give the out of work plasma donors out there some other job ideas.
