::Making Grown Men Cry Since 1992

You’ve got to be kidding me. I’ve heard of child prodigies getting their PhD in physics at the age of 12. We’ve all seen young actors on the big screen outshining their adult counterparts. Youth accomplishing awe inspiring things isn’t that rare an occurrence, but oh my god. A 7-year-old boy from Arizona is going to attempt a swim that chills my bones just to think about, from Alcatraz to the shores of San Francisco. I coach kids his age in swimming and haven’t met one I would encourage to swim a mile in an indoor pool (which, at a slow pace, would take about 45 mins), let alone swim for an hour in open bay water. This boy is my hero. Maybe he’ll give me some training tips for that triathlon I’ve been meaning to do for the past five years.
