I don’t know whose bright idea it was for the Video of the Week on the city’s red light camera website, but I don’t think it’s too bright. This week’s highlight: footage of a pedestrian being struck by a car during an accident. Wow! What am I supposed to think? Dang, I sure am glad that red light camera was there to video tape that poor man being smashed by a car! It really saved his life! The archive reveals more tame footage highlighting the cameras’ usefulness, but why the pedestrian accident? What I am thinking is: Dang, I sure am creeped out by that video and can’t believe the city would put it up on their website to promote the red light cameras! Geesh.
