I’m a little obsessed with microscopic images. I really like the way things look that way. If I could paint, I would do a series of wall-sized paintings of these images and call it "tiny art." Then I would don a beret and chuckle at my sense of artistic irony. And then I would get over myself. I hope.Anyway, in my months-long obsession with big images of teensy things, I found this killer site. It’s Eye of Science . On it are, you guessed it, microscopic images broken up by category: crystals, bacteria/viruses, botany, medicine, fungus, technical things and zoology. I’m partial to the viruses, but they’re all really interesting. Check them out today if your boss isn’t looking.
