Wow. The same day Joe Biden officially announced his candidacy for president, the Delaware senator also officially blew his chances of ever winning. Here’s the money quote, on Barack Obama’s qualifications as a candidate:
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” he said. “I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
Brilliant. And if young people don’t get a decent education they’ll end up in Iraq with the rest of the high school dropouts, right, Joe? How about a Biden-Kerry ticket? Anyone? Anyone?
