The little robot dude (and friend) from Machinarium.

At last! After three years of hard work, Czech indie game studio Amanita Design is back with Machinarium, another point-and-click puzzle game featuring the compelling hand-drawn art, atmospheric sound and trippy animation that made their earlier games Samarost and Samarost 2 so unique. First, help your robot pal find all his limbs and cross the forbidden causeway. Then … well, I can’t tell you because I’m still stuck at the causeway.

You can play through the first three levels of this
Independent Games Festival award-winner for free. The rest of the full-scale game runs $20 and includes the sonorous ambient soundtrack. Games like this make me stop hating Flash while I’m playing them, and Amanita has apparently gone out of their way to make sure it works on Linux. Huzzah!
