Moby Dick, the novel, is slow going. Trust me. Entire chapters are given over to descriptions of rope. There’s a chapter about paintings of whales that the author liked. There’s a chapter about paintings of whales that he did like. And so on. Moby Dick: The Videogame, on the other hand, has none of that tedious crap. It’s got a whale eating tiny people in boats. Which is pretty much all you want out of Moby Dick anyway. Chomp stuff, grow big, don’t run out of air—and when you’re big enough, come flying out of the water to crush some ships. Satisfying!
