::Making Grown Men Cry Since 1992

Some of us around the office are getting a little antsy to read Bob Woodward’s new book, State of Denial –the third in a series of portraits of George Bush and his presidency. We’re still waiting for our copies to arrive. If you’re like us, or if you already have a copy and would be interested in a little reading guide, Slate published a useful article by John Dickerson yesterday that encapsulates some of the "juiciest" parts of Woodward’s book. Not recommended for bedtime reading–unless, of course, you want to have nightmares about Condi Rice giving Donald Rumsfeld a lap dance. Yech. (That, by the way, doesn’t actually happen in the book–it’s just a thoroughly nauseating thought.)
