Escape to Red Horse Vineyard Bed and Breakfast located just outside city limits in the South Valley. Only 5 miles west of the airport and a 1/4 mile walk from Bosque trails along the Rio Grande. Perfect for one, couples and families!

Red Horse Vineyard B&B awaits your arrival and choice of which unique experience you will add to your treasures!

As guests, you explore vintage vineyards and a cellar where wine is made using late 1800s equipment, view historic artifacts, listen to tales of long ago, warm by an evening fire, stroll under orchard trees, rest by the fish pond or the tranquility of a fountain, soak in the warmth of the sun and then retreat to the shade of a 100 year old cottonwood tree.

Treat your senses to a cool dip in the pool, relax in the hot tub, taste fresh fruit and vegetables from the farm or participate in making homemade ice cream from a family recipe handed down over a century. Daytrips that become overnight escapes can include painting classes, making ceramics or joining in the fun of grape harvesting and pressing for wine. On site spa services add to your rejuvenation. Advanced reservations are required for some of the activities.

Red Horse Vineyard B&B captivates visitors with its history, connection to the legacy of families and farms in the South Valley as well as an abundance of artistic experiences with painting, ceramics, music and book writing. Innkeepers Carl Londene and daughter Darlene Capshaw are world travelers and weave their experiences into the rich history of the family property homestead from 1870. Carl is an artisan vintner and loves sharing the history of the property along with the unique ways he crafts his wines. His hobby produces a very small amount of wine but results in world-wide, long-lasting friendships!

Amazing breakfasts greet your day with food varieties such as strawberry-cream scones, delicious peach crepes, hearty country-style meals. Special diets as well as vegan options are available. Produce from the garden, grapes from the vines, fruit from the orchard and eggs from the chickens are all used to make hearty country breakfasts.

Your escape includes one of five themed rooms: the Sunrise Suite, the Parlor Room, Old West Room, Heritage Room and the English Rose Room. Two rooms offer mobility features with barrier free showers for wheel chairs and walker access. Red Horse Vineyard B&B offers neighborhood and military discounts and is pup-friendly.

Red Horse Vineyard B&B is a big believer in supporting small local businesses for lotions, shampoos, soaps, coffees, horse trail rides, garden produce and art work.

There are several packages can be arranged to enhance your stay: chuck wagon meals, painting with Sharon Higgins, horse rides, and massages arranged on site.

If you’re looking for an extended day trip to escape busy Burque or just want to get not-so-far-away for a few days this is the perfect place to do it!
