You, the readers, have spoken. With all of Burque’s restaurants, cafés and bistros to choose from, you cast hundreds of ballots and selected the following winners as your top choices in the Duke City. There are a lot of old favorites in there—Frontier, Olympia Café, El Pinto—but plenty of newcomers as well, including Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria, which only recently moved into the space formerly inhabited by Bailey’s on the Beach and still managed to sweep the Best New Restaurant category.

A word about our format: In most cases, a winner is followed by two runners up. In some categories, two clear frontrunners dominated while the third place was split among so many contendors that the position was eliminated. In a few instances, one winner so mercilessly trounced the competition that even second place votes were so divided as to be meaningless.

As always, congratulations to all the winners! And to you readers: we couldn’t do this without you, so keep eating, reading and voting.
