Bursting onto the scene in 2012, Rebel Donut changed the doughnut game in Albuquerque. Home to the signature Blue Sky doughnut, a vanilla cake doughnut with cotton candy blue icing and sprinkled with “Breaking Bad” “crystal meth” (blue crystallized sugar) on top. It’s addicting. (TG)

Nestled in the bustling University area, Rude Boy Cookies serves up freshly-baked cookies, maybe even better than your mom’s chocolate chip cookies. A family-owned business, Golden Crown Panaderia has been serving up fresh-baked goods since 1972. As if fresh bread isn’t good enough, Golden Crown makes cookies, pastries, sandwiches (made with their housemade sliced bread or baguette) and pizza (also on a homemade dough).
