Laura Linney ( You Can Count on Me ) stars as a middle-aged college admissions officer who finds herself falling madly in love with a young lad she believes is the reincarnation of her high school sweetheart. Although the film sounds like the stuff of chick-lit fantasy (and an uncomfortable precursor to this fall’s other May-December reincarnation romance Birth ), it is expertly directed by Dylan Kidd, who gave us the thorny and brilliant Roger Dodger .
