The picture of thousands of invaders trying to forcefully get into America is frightful. Especially to those living along the border with Mexico. For years, many have had their homes invaded, by much smaller groups than the present-day caravans.
Caravans of immigrants invading America is a new type of threat to this country. The liberals’ idea of an opened-border-policy is a sign of insanity. Especially now that Mexico has, as of Dec. 1, a new President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador. He has been quoted as saying, during his campaign, “that immigrants must leave their towns and find a life in the United States.” Now some in the neighboring countries may be taking his advice.
And he was also quoted as saying, “and soon, very soon … after the victory of our movement … we will defend all the migrants in the American continent and all the migrants in the world.” Hopefully, that was just campaign bravado. We will soon find out!
Too bad our gutless Republican legislators, and their fellow Democrat/Abomination Party legislators, didn't give the president enough money to build the wall. The wall should be 50 feet thick and 100 feet high, of reinforced concrete, down the center of the Rio Grande River, from the Gulf of Mexico to El Paso, Texas, and from there on the border line, all the way to the Pacific Ocean. If it can be done, America can do it!
A broke America cannot take in the rest of the world.

Build That Wall!
When President Bill Clinton found that Congress was passing appropriations bills that did not contain all the spending he wanted, he vetoed those bills, shutting down the government until Congress gave him the funding he believed necessary.
It is time for President Trump to follow the example of Clinton. He should veto appropriations until Congress gives him the funding to build a much-needed wall along the Mexican border.
We saw just a few weeks ago, when the border was attacked by illegal aliens crossing from Tijuana, that the current wall is inadequate. While the border patrol was able to catch many of the invaders who came over the wall, some escaped into the interior of the United States.
We have laws limiting immigration, but the current barriers at the border are not sufficient for the enforcement of those laws. A new and better wall is one essential component of border security, and President Trump should use every instrument provided by the Constitution to get the wall built.

Editorial Correction: In last week’s “News City” column, we reported that the New Mexico Legislature has adopted a new set of security measures for the opening day of the 60-day legislative session, “possibly in an attempt to prevent protests during Gov. Susana Martinez’ State of the State address.” We meant, instead, to refer to Gov. Elect Michelle Lujan Grisham’s upcoming state of the state address. The error was in reporting.
Useful Idiots R Us
With all due respect,
Quote Deb Haaland: Enough of this “Trumpism.” Don’t you know you are insulting the majority of real patriots in this country. Why do you think Trump got elected? Because we are sick and tired of your crooked Democrat rule. Deb is a perfect example of hatred that started with Obama.
Hitler was a leftist socialist—Democrats are leftist socialists! Our state has suffered under Democrats’ heavy foot. Why are we the poorest state in the union except for Mississippi? And why is California falling apart before our very eyes?
The Democrats’ bible is Rules For Radicals, a book dedicated to Lucifer—read it sometime. “Blame the other side for something you are guilty of.”—Saul Alinsky.
All of this hatred and division is coming from the left!!! Yes, all of you libbies are eating it all up, served by Hillary and the rest of the American haters.
Dearest Alibi, count yourselves as one of the “Useful Idiots.”
