Apd Overtime Pay Uncalled For

I don’t want to hear Mayor Berry or Police Chief Eden use the low level of manpower as an excuse anymore for high crime, poor response time or lack of neighborhood patrolling. With the $11,000,000 in paid overtime to APD last year, the city could have hired at least 87 new officers. I base this on a salary of $56,000 and $15,000 a year in benefits. Is APD more interested in padding take home pay than serving and protecting?

Legalize marijuana.

Tax it.

Properly staff, train and support our APD.

There is your peace. With a side a revenue to boot.

Have a great day!

“Photographic proof that I found on the internet of the existence of Yucca Man”

Photographs are not proof; DNA from hair samples, or even better capturing a specimen would be proof. Until then there is no evidence that Yucca Man exists. To quote Issac Asimov, “I believe in evidence. I believe in observation, measurement, and reasoning, confirmed by independent observers. I’ll believe anything, no matter how wild and ridiculous, if there is evidence for it. The wilder and more ridiculous something is, however, the firmer and more solid the evidence will have to be.”
