Word on Pitchfork is that Marty Crandall and Jesse Sandoval are leaving the band. “It’s an aesthetic decision,” says frontman James Mercer. “It’s kind of hard to talk abut stuff like that, isn’t it?”The next Shins disc will be released on Mercer’s label, Aural Apothecary. He’s also re-releasing a Flake Music album from 1997.
