TOWN OF ATRISCO ELECTIONS

Headline: Town of ATrisco Election Ad: Notice MERCED TOWN OF ATRISCO GRANT ELECTION PROCLAMATION RESOLUTION Resolution No. 2017 -06-15 WHEREAS, the Land Grant General Provision 49-1-5 NMSA 1978 requires the Merced Town of Atrisco Grant to hold elections every 2 or 4 years in accordance with the bylaws of the Merced; and WHEREAS, bylaws of the Merced Town of Atrisco Grant call elections of the Merced to be held every 4 years; WHEREAS, Section 49-1-5 NMSA 1978 also calls for the land grant-merced to pass by resolution an election proclamation that shall be published in an newspaper of general circulation and posted in at least five public places no more that 45 days and no less that 30 prior to the election; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Merced Town of Atrisco Grant, New Mexico that: 1. A regular election of the Merced Town of Atrisco Grant for the election of members to the board of trustees shall be held on August 5th 2017 at 5pm to 6pm. 2. The purpose of the election shall be to elect 2 members to the board of trustees. Terms of service for each elected position shall be 4 four years. 3. All Declarations of Candidacy shall be filed in person with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees on July 13th, 2017 from 4-5pm at 2708 Rosendo Garcia Sw. Atrisco, NM 87105 (505.315.4253 or 505.385.1788) or emailed in Advance to info@atriscolandgrant.com. 4. The following location(s) is designated as a polling place(s) for the conduct of the election: on Saturday August 5th 2017. 2708 Rosendo Garcia. SW, Atrisco, NM 87105 5. Polls shall be opened for voting at 5pm and shall close at 6pm August 5th 2017. 6. The registration books for the Merced Town of Atrisco Grant shall be closed on Two Week prior to the Election on July 21th 2017 at 3pm. Any heirs desiring to become qualified voting members must do so prior to that date or wait until the Monday following the election, when registration shall reopen. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that items 1 through 6, exactly as stated above, shall serve as the official election proclamation and notice which shall be published, in English, in the Alibi newspaper and shall posted in the follow 5 publics places both Spanish and English. ABQ DRINQ STUDY

We are seeking healthy individuals 22-55 years of age who are moderate to heavy drinkers for a study of how alcohol use affects brain functioning. The study involves four visits at the Mind Research Network over 18 months and each visit requires up to 8 hours, which can be split over multiple days. You will be compensated at the rate of $20/hour for your participation. The Mind Research Network is located on the North Campus of University of New Mexico. Boys and girls between the ages of 12-18 with no history of serious medical or emotional problems are needed. Participants will receive $20 per hour for their time.
