The Week in Sloth
“Community” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) “Community” returns to its finest hour with another paintball-themed episode. This time, Josh Holloway from “Lost” is along for the ride.
“A.N.T. Farm” (Disney 9:40 p.m.) Disney’s new sitcom revolves around a group of kids in a high school gifted program. Sorry, Disney, those kids are too well-dressed to be nerds.
“Pretty Hurts” (LOGO 9 p.m.) A docu-reality show about Rand Rusher, “Botox Injector to the Stars.” ... So, apparently that’s a job.
Almighty Thor (Syfy 7 p.m.) Are you dying to see Marvel Comics’ new summer blockbuster Thor? Do you wish it had 1/100th the budget and none of the star power, was directed by the guy who gave us Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus, and starred Richard Grieco? Then Syfy Channel has answered your prayers.
Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden (HBO 7 p.m.) Based on the Internet videos I’ve seen, this gal falls down a lot in concert. So, with luck she’ll eat the front row seats in front of 20,000 fans.
“My Cat From Hell” (Animal Planet 7 p.m.) Real people show how horrible their pets are. It’s kinda like “Jersey Shore,” but with animals. ... Hairier animals. ... Animals of the non-human variety. ... Eh, close enough.
“The Celebrity Apprentice” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) The prospect of a three-hour episode of “The Apprentice” sounds mighty daunting. Imagine, if you will, how interminable a four-year Donald Trump presidency will feel.
Justice for Natalee Holloway (Lifetime 6 p.m.) This new made-for-TV movie about the disappearance of teenager Natalee Holloway concentrates mostly on how brave and resourceful her mom (played here by “Family Ties” star Tracy Pollan) is.
“Stargate Universe” (Syfy 7 p.m.) With this series finale, the universe contemplates life without a “Stargate” series for the first time since 1997.
“Vanished With Beth Holloway” (Lifetime 8 p.m.) Immediately following the TV movie about how awesome Natalee Holloway’s mom is, Natalee Holloway’s mom gets her own show on Lifetime.
“The Amazing World of Gumball” (Cartoon 8:30 p.m.) In this pleasingly surreal British toon, a cat, a goldfish with legs, and a peanut with antlers attend junior high school.
Worst. Prom. Ever. (MTV 11 p.m.) Daryl Sabara (Spy Kids), Haley Ramm (“Without a Trace”) and Chloe Bridges (Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam) try to steal some of the thunder from Disney’s Prom with this high school dance-themed ensemble rom-com.
“Cougar Town” (KOAT-7 8:30 p.m.) Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) stops by for a cameo.
“The Electric Barbarellas” (MTV 12 a.m.) Eighty-seven-year-old Viacom chairman Sumner Redstone got some serious flack for foisting onto his networks this reality show about a talentless, Lady Gaga-obsessed girl group he’s been drooling over. Begrudgingly, MTV airs the cleavage-and-catfight-filled show. And if MTV is embarrassed by a reality show, you know it’s awful.
