The Week in Sloth

Thursday 6

“In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye” (HBO 7 p.m.) Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Marc Jacobs and Vera Wang are among the fashionable folks interviewed for this 120th anniversary celebration of Vogue magazine.

Friday 7

“VGA Ten” (Spike 7 p.m.) Samuel L. Jackson hosts the 10th anniversary of the Video Game Awards. Special performances by Linkin Park and Tenacious D.because nothing says “arrested development” like bands that were burning up the charts in 2001.

Saturday 8

“Mario Lopez & Courtney Mazza Wedding Special” (TLC 6 p.m.) Because you should totally care when C-list celebrities (in this case a former “Saved By the Bell” alum and a Broadway dancer) get married.

“The American Giving Awards” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) Joel McHalewho seems way too snarky for this gighosts an award show honoring charitable organizations in America.

12 Disasters of Christmas (Syfy 7 p.m.) Earthquakes, tidal waves, meteor showers: Now this is how you put together a holiday film.

Sunday 9

The Mistle-Tones (ABC Family 6 p.m.) ABC Family goes all “Glee” on us with this movie about a Christmas Eve singing competition starring Tori Spelling and Tia Mowry (formerly of “Tia and Tamera” fame).

Help for the Holidays (Hallmark 6 p.m.) Summer Glau.

All About Christmas Eve (Lifetime 7 p.m.) Haylie Duff. Tough call, but I’m gonna have to give this week’s Battle of the Holiday-Themed Rom-Coms to Lifetime, if only for the clever title.

Christmas with Holly (KOAT-7 8 p.m.) A toy store owner falls in love with a man who cares for his orphaned niece. Are you trying to horn in on Hallmark / Lifetime’s territory, ABC? Sorry, but you’re gonna have to do a lot better than Eloise Mumford if you wanna play this game.

“Robot Chicken’s ATM Christmas Special” (Cartoon Network 1 a.m.) I sincerely hope they’re talking about automated teller machines.

Monday 10

“Syfy 20th Anniversary Special” (Syfy 7 p.m.) Actors, directors and producers from shows such as “Alphas,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “Being Human,” “Eureka,” “Farscape,” “Haven,” “Sanctuary,” “Stargate: SG1” and “Warehouse 13” reminisce about the days when Syfy Channel was a lot more interested in showing science fiction.

“Take It All” (KOB-4 8:01 p.m.) It’s a Christmas miracle! Somebody gave Howie Mandel a TV game show again.

“Michael Bublé: Home for the Holidays” (KOB-4 9:01 p.m.) Rod Stewart, Blake Shelton and Carly Rae Jepsen join the crooner for Christmas carols. This isn’t helping my mixed opinion of you, Michael.

Tuesday 11

“Storage Wars New York” (A&E 8 p.m.) Take a show you’ve already got, append a word or two? Check!

Wednesday 12

Barbara Walters Presents the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012” (KOAT-7 8:31 p.m.) Barbara has included British tween singing sensation One Direction among her 10 people, which is kinda like sneaking 15 items through the 12 items or less aisle at the supermarket.
