Zombie Day (TCM 10:15 a.m.) TCM salutes all things undead with a day-long marathon of zombie films, beginning with 1957’s Voodoo Island . That’s followed by 1945’s Zombies on Broadway , 1941’s King of the Zombies , 1943’s Revenge of the Zombies , 1943’s Zombies of Mora Tau and, finally, 1932’s White Zombie .

“Bloodsucking Cinema” (Starz 6 p.m.) Starz launches its fourth annual Fear Fest with this hour-long doc on the history and evolution of vampire movies. Expert interviewees incude Kristanna Loken ( BloodRayne ), Cheech Marin ( From Dusk Till Dawn ) and Corey Haim (The Lost Boys).

Saturday 27

Zombie Alligators ” (National Geographic Channel 7 p.m.) Given that this is actually a nature documentary from National Geographic, I don’t expect it to live up to the title. … But damn , Sci-Fi Channel could learn a thing or two from these guys. Zombie Alligators !?! How could they have missed out on a title like that? It beats Ice Spiders by a country mile.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (KWBQ-19 7 p.m.) Forget the recent remake starring Nicole Kidman ( The Invasion ). You already did? Good. Now check out this 1978 revision starring Donald Sutherland. Creepy stuff!

“Halloween Madness” (TLC 9 p.m.) The Learning Channel gets into the spirit of the season with this hour-long special about people and places that go overboard this time of year–from huge haunted houses to hyper-decorated households.

Sunday 28

“What’s With That Really Haunted Halloween House?” (HGTV 7 p.m.) Ever wondered about that scary chunk of real estate down the block? HGTV looks into it.

“The Lost Book of Nostradamus” (History 7 p.m.) Was a long-lost book of Nostradamus predicting the end of the world found in France in 1994? … I’m gonna say no, but feel free to prove me wrong.

Monday 29

A Presidential Dialogue With Barack Obama” (MTV 8 p.m.) Kudos to you, MTV, for rockin’ the vote. … And now back to “Making Menudo.”

Tuesday 30

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown–40 th Anniversary” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) Forty years ?

“Iron Mask” (KASY-50 8 p.m.) Five secret guests hidden behind iron masks confess their most shameful secrets to former “Inside Edition” anchor Nancy Glass. … Sure you don’t want a mask there, Nancy?

Wednesday 31

“Ghost Hunters Live” (Sci-Fi 7 p.m.) members of The Atlantic Paranormal Society spend their Halloween night broadcast live from the Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Ky., for six hours straight. That’s six hours worth of people stumbling around in the dark and scaring each other silly with night vision goggles. Quote of the night: “What was that ?” Expect to hear it a lot.
