Publication Frequency
Weekly, 52 times per year.
Deadlines
Ad space must be reserved by 4 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the week of publication.
If we need to produce your ad, materials pertaining to the ad must be in by
4 p.m. the Wednesday prior to the week of publication. Camera-ready ads must
be delivered to the Alibi offices by 4 p.m. the Friday prior to the week of
publication.
Proof
A proof of your ad will be provided before it is printed in the paper, unless
other arrangements are made. Check your proof carefully;once the final proof
has been accepted, the advertisement will run as is. Each change, after closing,
on a previously proofed ad is $25, no exceptions.
Discounts
There will be no multiple rate discounts given without a signed and approved
insertion order.
Payment
Payment in advance is required of all advertisers. Credit may be extended only
after a fully completed and signed credit application is received and approved
by the Alibi. Once established, advertisers will be billed upon publication.
Paper
11"by 12. 5" (on 30# web-fed newsprint).

Ask your Alibi Representative.
Production
Typically, the Alibi will produce your ad at no additional charge. Should you
require logos, full color design, photos or illustrations, there will be extra
charges.
Camera-Ready Ads
Electronic Camera-ready ads must be submitted through email (50mb size limit, contact us for larger files) or on a CD-ROM.
Included should be the original ad file, all art used in the ad, and a PDF (Adobe Acrobat) version of the ad. Each ad should also include copies of all screen and printer fonts used (Postscript fonts only), or if possible, convert all fonts to paths. Color ads must be converted to CYMK or SPOT, no RGB or INDEXED color.
We cannot accept camera-ready ads in the following formats: Microsoft Word, Publisher, Powerpoint or Corel Draw. Weekly Alibi assumes no responsibility for camera-ready ads that fail to meet all of the camera-ready ad requirements.
Camera-ready film specifications are: 85 LPI, right reading, emulsion down.

Alternate Week
Rates
Eight ads may be run in 16 weeks at the four-time rate;13 ads in 26 weeks at
the eight-time rate; 26 ads in 52 weeks at the 13-time rate.
Nonprofit
Businesses that are registered nonprofit may be offered the 26-time rate.
Special Placement
When granted, special placement costs 20% above the established rate.
