It’s a TV movie biopic about how Fantasia Barrino won the third season of “American Idol.” And it stars Fantasia Barrino as “Fantasia Barrino.”

“Teen Choice Awards 2006” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) With “Choice Hottie” nominee Jessica Simpson hosting and stars like Rihanna, Hilary Duff, Wilmer Valderrama, the cast of “High School Musical” and Mr. Britney Spears himself, Kevin Federline, providing additional star power, the 2006 “Teen Choice Awards” are reason No. 128 I’m glad I’m no longer a teenager.

“Comedy Central Roasts: William Shatner” (Comedy Central 11 p.m.) Jason Alexander hosts the roast of suddenly hilarious actor William Shatner. Roasters include Andy Dick, Nichelle Nichols, Patton Oswalt, Kevin Pollak, Jeffrey Ross, Sharon Stone, George Takei, Betty White and Fred Willard.

“Prison Break” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) A new season and it’s not even September? Thanks, FOX. … Hey, wait a minute. You’re gonna screw us come World Series time, aren’t you?

“Vanished” (KASA-2 8 p.m.) This new episodic crime series about a senator’s missing wife whose disappearance reveals a major conspiracy over the course of an entire season borrows a hell of a lot from “Prison Break.” Fittingly, it’s scheduled right after “Prison Break.”

“Bourdain in Beirut” (Travel Channel 8 p.m.) While shooting the next season of their lighthearted food travel show “No Reservations,” chef Anthony Bourdain and crew recently found themselves trapped in war-torn Lebanon. Here is the result of that 10-day vacation from hell.

“When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts” (HBO 10 p.m.) Director Spike Lee contributes night one of his elegant two-night documentary miniseries about the government’s excruciatingly show response to Hurricane Katrina.
