“The Underground” (Showtime 10 p.m.) Damon Wayans provides employment for more of his siblings with this R-rated sketch comedy show.

Friday 15

“Behind the Camera: The Shorts Circuit” (TCM 4 a.m.) Turner unspools an entire day’s worth of short films from famed directors both classic (Chaplin, Hitchcock, Scorsese) and modern (Griffin Dunne, Ridley Scott, Mario Van Peebles).

“Battlestar Galactica: The Story So Far” (USA 10 p.m.) If you haven’t been keeping up with Sci-Fi Channel’s excellent, darkly dramatic revamp of “Battlestar Galactica” … well, then you’re just crazy. But, if you need to catch up on who’s who, what’s what and where’s where in the galaxy, this hour-long recap should do nicely.

Saturday 16

“Talkshow with Spike Feresten” (KASA-2 11 p.m.) Spike Feresten (former writer for “Late Night with David Letterman,” “The Simpsons” and “Seinfeld”) tries his hand at hosting a late-night talk/sketch show. Let’s hope he fares better than past FOX hosts Joan Rivers and Chevy Chase.

Sunday 17

“The Amazing Race 10” (KRQE-13 7:30 p.m.) Ten teams, $1 million in prize money and a hell of a lot of frequent-flier miles.

Monday 18

“The Class” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) As an anniversary gift for his girlfriend, 27-year-old Ethan (Jason Ritter) arranges a reunion with their third-grade class. From there, the show spins off into a semi-serialized ensemble comedy, showing how much (or how little) people have changed in the last 20 years. From the co-creator of “Friends.”

“ET Presents The CW: The Launch of a Network” (KWBQ-19 8 p.m.) Earlier this year, The WB and UPN combined forces to create The CW, being shown locally on KWBQ. Now, “ET” is saluting The CW with a night of previews, presented ASAP and on the QT … right on your TV … in HD, if you’ve got it.

“Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” (KOB-4 9 p.m.) This drama, headlined by Aaron Sorkin of “The West Wing” fame, follows the behind-the-scenes action of a “Saturday Night Live” sketch comedy show. Cast includes Matthew Perry, Amanda Peet, Bradley Whitford, Judd Hirsch, Steven Weber, D.L. Hughley, Nate Corddry and Timothy Busfield.

Tuesday 19

“ET Presents: The CW Launch Party” (KWBQ-19 8 p.m.) It may look like we covered this last night, but tonight is the premiere party for all the shows we got to see sneak previewed on Monday. Imagine all the red carpet dirt our “ET” correspondents can dig up tonight. Like, why must we endure another season of “One Tree Hill”?

“Smith” (KRQE-13 9 p.m.) Ray Liotta stars in what looks like a complete steal of FX’s sharp crime series “Thief,” an ensemble drama about a high-stakes robber and his gang of career criminals.

Wednesday 20

“Jericho” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) When a nuclear explosion cuts off all contact with the outside world, the residents of tiny Jericho, Kan., assume the worst. But how long do we have to wait for the gas-hungry mutants to show up?
