Thursday 7

“My Name is Earl” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) Tonight’s Thursday night comedy lineup features this two-part episode in which Earl and Randy travel to Mexico after accidentally getting Catalina deported. John Leguizamo guest stars.

Friday 8

“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) To refresh your memory: Burl Ives as a singing snowman, a tooth-loving elf name Hermey, the Island of Misfit Toys and the Abominable Snowman.

Re-Animated (Cartoon Network 9 p.m.) CN’s first feature film to mix live-action and animation finds young Jimmy Roberts (Dominic Janes, “ER”) involved in a freak accident at the Gollyworld theme park. Naturally, he’s given the frozen brain of the theme park’s Walt Disney-esque creator, Milt Appleday (Fred Willard). Following this questionable cranial transplant, Jimmy can see the entire cast of Appleday’s cartoons come to life in the real world. Paul Reubens, Tom Kenny, Ellen Greene and Brian Posehn voice the animated characters.

Saturday 9

“Holidaze: The Holiday That Almost Didn’t Happen” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) I’m almost always leery of new holiday cartoons, mostly because all the new ones suck. About all I can say about this timely toon is that it’s got a big voice cast (including Fred Savage, Harland Williams, Gladys Knight, Fred Willard, John O’Hurley, Edie McClurg and Paul Rodriguez).

Sunday 10

Santa Baby (ABC Family 6 p.m.) When a high-powered business executive (Jenny McCarthy) finds out her dad is sick, she rushes to his side to help out over the holidays. The twist? Dad (George Wendt) is Santa Claus. Didn’t see that coming, did you?

Tsunami: The Aftermath (HBO 9 p.m.) Academy Award nominee Tim Roth leads an all-star cast in this two-part miniseries about the survivors of the tsunami that devastated Thailand two year ago.

Monday 11

The Lost Room (Sci-Fi 7 p.m.) This three-part miniseries event is notable because it was all shot right here in Albuquerque. Peter Krause (“Six Feet Under”) stars as a detective searching for his missing daughter who disappeared inside a mysterious hotel room that seems to be a portal to an alternate universe.

“The Year Without a Santa Claus” (KOB-4 8 p.m.) Here’s an interesting idea: NBC has taken the classic Rankin-Bass holiday special and turned it into a live-action movie starring John Goodman as grumpy Santa Claus, Eddie Griffin and Ethan Suplee as Christmas-saving elves Jingle and Jangle, and Harvey Fierstein and Michael McKean as the evil Heat Meiser and Snow Meiser.

“100 Greatest TV Quotes and Catchphrases” (KOB-4 9 p.m.) In the immortal words of Homer Simpson: “Woo-hoo!”

Tuesday 12

“Barbara Walters: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2006” (KOAT-7 9 p.m.) How many members of the Britney/Paris/Lindsay party troika will make it on the list?

Wednesday 13

“2006 Video Game Awards” (Spike 8 p.m.) Samuel L. Jackson hosts. Tenacious D and AFI perform. Guitar Hero 2 wins “Most Addictive Game Fueled by Mountain Dew.”
