Thursday 9

“Bounty Girls: Miami” (Court TV 7 p.m.) Following in the footsteps of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” and “Wife, Mom, Bounty Hunter” comes this new reality series about four smart, tough, sexy women who hunt down criminals in Miami. It’s just like “V.I.P.” only, you know, “real.”

Friday 10

“Flash Gordon” (Sci-Fi 7 p.m.) Ignoring the original ’30s comic strip and the gloriously cheesy ’80s flick, this new Sci-Fi series is “giving a 21 st century spin to one of science fiction’s best-known names.” I’m not sure what that means, but I think it involves lots of hair gel.

Saturday 11

Claire (Hallmark 7 p.m.) Police call in a single mother with second sight (current Jennie Craig guinea pig Valerie Bertinelli) to help solve a tricky murder case. … Sniff. Sniff . I smell a movie series in the offing.

“NY77: The Coolest Year in Hell” (VH1 7 p.m.) This two-hour documentary (from the executive producer of The Kid Stays in the Picture ) chronicles one crucial year in the life of New York City’s music scene. While the city was crumbling under the weight of unemployment, blackouts, riots and the continuing rampage of serial killer David Berkowitz, punk rock, disco, breakdancing and more were exploding in the streets and clubs of Manhattan.

Sunday 12

“John From Cincinnati” (HBO 10 p.m.) At first I couldn’t tell if this show was totally brilliant or totally weird. Now I’m convinced it’s both. Perhaps tonight’s season finale will clear things up. … Yeah, I doubt it, too.

“The Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav” (Comedy Central 11 p.m.) The best celebrity roasts come from positions of great respect. I’m not sure you can actually respect the guy who made out with Brigitte Nielsen in a hot tub, but I am convinced there’ll be plenty of material for jokes.

Monday 13

“Slacker Cats” (ABC Family 8 p.m.) Yup, cats who are slackers. (Seriously, aren’t all cats slackers?) Comedians Harland Williams, Sinbad, Emo Philips and Nicole Sullivan are among the voice cast of this adult-oriented cartoon.

“Californication” (Showtime 8:30 p.m.) The last time the words “David Duchovny,” “Showtime” and “sex” were linked, we got the classic softcore series “Red Shoe Diaries.” Here’s hoping this new 12-part series about a troubled novelist whose obsessions with sex and drugs interfere with his personal and professional lives measures up to the legacy. … C’mon, I can’t be the only one out there obsessed with “Red Shoe Diaries.”

Tuesday 14

“Pirate Master” (CBS.com Whenever) If you’re really keen to find out who won “Pirate Master” (which got the chop last month), CBS is apparently broadcasting the series finale on their website starting today.

Wednesday 15

“Knights of Prosperity” (KOAT-7 7:30 p.m.) This sitcom about a group of misfits trying to rob a rich celebrity (they started out with Mick Jagger and worked their way down to Ray Romano) got canceled after 9 episodes. Now it’s back, burning off its final four eps.
