Thursday 23

“Wildcatters” (Discovery 8 p.m.) Discovery Channel continues its mission to document each and every lousy, messy, potentially deadly job on the planet.

Friday 24

“Miss Teen USA 2007” (KOB-4 7) Hosted by Chris Hansen of “Dateline NBC”’s To Catch a Predator. … Just kidding. … Or am I?

“Diana’s Last Days” (FOX News Channel 8 p.m.) Diana Spencer, Princess of Wales, died in a car accident on Oct. 31, 1997, making this the 10 th anniversary of her death. … Let the exploitation begin.

Saturday 25

The Murder of Princess Diana (Lifetime 7 p.m.) Keeping in line with the theory that famous people can’t simply die—they have to be murdered, be part of a conspiracy or fake their own death—comes this TV biopic speculating on the titular scenario. Based on the book by Noel Botham.

“Bob Saget: That Ain’t Right” (HBO 11 p.m.) The genial host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and star of ’80s sitcom “Full House,” Bob Saget, finally cuts loose and gives TV audiences a taste of what he does best—tell incredibly filthy jokes!

Sunday 26

Hamburger Week (Food Network 7 p.m.) Yup, it’s Hamburger Week on the Food Network, with a different burger-themed show every night at 7 p.m. Tonight it’s an “Iron Chef America” episode featuring the ingredient du jour (or whatever the French word for “week” is). Allez cuisine!

“Teen Choice 2007” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Lemme guess: all High School Musical , all the time.

“Diana’s Last Day” (Bravo 9 p.m.) Ooh, juicy footage of Diana, hours before her death. Enjoy.

“Big Love” (HBO 10 p.m.) It’s the end of season two and Bill is up to his Mormon ass in trouble.

Monday 27

“Life of Ryan” (MTV 11:30) Millionaire teenage skateboarding champ Ryan Sheckler just wants to be a regular kid—which is why he’s living his entire life on an MTV reality show, just like all the other regular kids in America.

Tuesday 28

“Princess Diana: The Legend and Legacy of a Princess” (KASY-50 7 p.m.) Yeah, even Elton John is bored of the coverage at this point.

Wednesday 29

“Back to New Orleans” (KASY-50 7 p.m.) Music icon Deacon John Moore documents the unique culture of the Big Easy as it struggles to survive in a post-hurricane Gulf Coast. A timely effort, seeing as how most Americans seem to have forgotten we lost 1,500 people and most of a major city two years ago this week. Guess the Katrina anniversary just got outclassed by the Diana anniversary.

“Crazy Sexy Cancer” (TLC 7 p.m.) An irrepressible young woman finds strength, humor, friendship and love after doctors diagnose her with a rare, incurable form of cancer in this irreverent documentary special.
