Thursday 8

“Latin Grammy Awards 2007” (KLUZ-15 7 p.m.) I’m a bit out of my element here, but I’ve been assured tonight’s ceremonies “ incluye interpretaciones por Juan Luis Guerra, Pepe Aguilar y Camila .” … You had me at Juan Luis.

Friday 9

“Deal or No Deal” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) I hope you like “Deal or No Deal,” because odds are you’re going to be seeing it seven nights a week soon, thanks to this writers’ strike.

“How You Know ’Bout That: BET’s Rap-It-Up Sex Quiz” (BET 8 p.m.) Just keep your answers on the down low.

Saturday 10

Bats: Human Harvest (Sci-Fi 7 p.m.) I know it seems like I put down the Sci-Fi Channel week after week as a repository for every chintzy giant/mutant/killer animal movie in creation, but … Sorry, where was I going with that?

“The Graham Norton Show” (BBC America 9 p.m.) Tonight’s guests include John Waters and Joan Collins. Now that sounds like a can’t-be-missed gathering of all things campy.

Sunday 11

Point Blank (TCM 9:15 p.m.) They don’t make tough guys like Lee Marvin anymore, and they don’t make movies like Point Blank anymore, either. This 1967 action flick, based on a book by Donald E. Westlake and directed by John Boorman ( Deliverance, Excalibur ) is one badass slab of manliness. Marvin is the surly criminal hunting down the backstabbing partner and wife who left him for dead. It was remade (badly) in 1999 as the Mel Gibson vehicle Payback . Feel free to ignore that fact.

Monday 12

“World Golf Fall of Fame 2007” (Golf Channel 7 p.m.) How can you go wrong with the two-hour induction ceremony for this year’s World Golf Hall of Fame? … Have I mentioned that writers’ strike?

Tuesday 13

Stakeout on Dope Street (TCM 6 p.m.) This 1957 crime drama features a trio of juvenile delinquents who find a fortune in heroine and then make the mistake of trying to sell it off. For a corny ’50s B-movie, it’s fairly sleazy. Star Jonathan Haze appeared in dozens of Roger Corman films (including the original Little Shop of Horrors ) and director Irvin Kershner went on to direct The Empire Strikes Back . This is almost as cool.

Wednesday 14

“Mythbusters” (Discovery 7 p.m.) For this new “Mythbusters” special, Jamie and Adam order everything “supersized.” I’m not quite sure what that means, but I’m hoping it translates into huge explosions.

“Project Runway” (Bravo 8 p.m.) Bravo kicks off season four of, arguably, the only TV reality show in which participants express some form of demonstrable talent.

“American Ninja Challenge” (G4 9 p.m.) G4 goes ninja for the night, offering us a behind-the-scenes look at muscular Japanese game show “Ninja Warrior,” a special on the “American Ninja Challenge” and a trio of brand-new “Ninja Warrior” episodes in which the viewer-chosen American Ninja champion goes overseas to compete on “Ninja Warrior.” Man, that’s a lot of ninja!
