Thursday 6

“Top Chef Holiday Special” (BRAVO 7 p.m.) Fan favorites from the first three seasons return to cook a complete holiday meal for a chance to win a $20,000 prize.

“Barbara Walters: 10 Most Fascinating People of 2007” (KOB-4 9 p.m.) Not on the list: Rosie O’Donnell.

Friday 7

“Movies Rock!” (KRQE-13 8 p.m.) A fairly impressive who’s who of music (Beyoncé, Carrie Underwood, Elton John, Fergie, John Legend, Marc Anthony, Tony Bennett, Queen Latifah, Usher) join forces in this rather weak excuse for a time-filling concert special. The tenuous theme: Movies are pretty much OK with us!

Saturday 8

Eye of the Beast (Sci-Fi 7 p.m.) Any guesses as to what giant animal will be lurching its way through this newest Sci-Fi Channel Original? Mongoose? Kangaroo? Cave cricket? … Sorry, its a squid.

“Fishzilla: Snakehead Invasion” (National Geographic 7 p.m.) Amazingly enough this is not a Sci-Fi Channel Original movie. Instead it’s a documentary about invasive aquatic species. But once again, Sci-Fi has been skunked in the title department. … Hey, wait a minute– giant skunk movie !

Sunday 9

Oprah Winfrey Presents: Mitch Albom’s For One More Day (KOAT-7 8 p.m.) With both Oprah Winfrey and Mitch Albom crammed into the title, this made-for-TV flick clearly expects you to cry like a broken fire hydrant. If you don’t, there will be hell to pay.

“Spike TV’s Video Game Awards 2007” (Spike 7 p.m.) Yeah, Halo 3 for “Most Addictive Game Fueled By Mountain Dew”!

“Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood” (E! 11:30 p.m.) People, just because you live in Hollywood doesn’t mean you’re required to expose 24/7 footage of your family life to reality show cameras. It’s bad for your marriage and your kids; and honestly, we really don’t care about you that much.

Monday 10

“Paranormal State” (A&E 8 p.m.) Following in the footsteps of T.A.P.S. (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) over on Sci-Fi Channel, P.R.S. (Paranormal Research Society) investigates ghosts and crap here on A&E.

Tuesday 11

“Life on Mars” (BBC America 7 p.m.) BBC’s intriguing crime series about a modern-day cop who finds himself inexplicably stuck in early-’70s England returns for its final, secret-spilling season.

Wednesday 12

“America’s Next Top Model” (KWBQ-19 7 p.m.) It’s reality show finale time!

“Kid Nation” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) It’s reality show finale time! How about next season, we kill two birds with one stone and send a bunch of fashion models out into the middle of the New Mexico desert to see if they can build their own society?
