Southwest Jazz Dance Company, Inc. and Elite Dance Studio team up to present The Picture of Dorian Gray on Wednesday, Oct. 29, and Thursday, Oct. 30, at the KiMo Theatre (423 Central NW). The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. both nights and is not recommended for children under 12. You wouldn’t want to give them nightmares (or ideas), would you? Culture Shock Back In Black

Black Market Goods is raising funds to send its arts show to Japan. This Saturday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m., more than 40 artists will showcase their work at 5905 Marble NE in the Marble Plaza Business Center with the hope you’ll buy some and send them to the Land of the Rising Sun. Culture Shock Tricklock Or Treat

Tricklock Company is back in action and opening its production of Sarah Ruhl’s Melancholy Play at UNM’s Rodey Theatre this weekend. Melancholy is a comedy about being sad—prime territory for Tricklockian revelry—and runs every Wednesday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. through Nov. 9.
