Recycled Art Fair Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Open Space Visitor Center, 6500 Coors NWMilk jugs, Reebok inserts, tuna cans. Trash? Hardly. In the right hands, they’re the raw stuff of innovation. Sponsored by the city’s Open Space Division, the Recycled Art Fair will present local artists whose work uses a minimum of 75 percent recycled or reused materials, what they call "upcycling." In addition to the art available for sale, the fair will offer workshops on sustainability, composting, birding, puppeteering, tool crafting, low-toxicity printmaking, yoga and more.
