The New Mexico Symphony Orchestra is back with a bang, adding opera to its repertoire. On Saturday, Jan. 30, and Sunday, Jan. 31, the NMSO and the NMSO Chorus present a veritable smorgasbord of operatic offerings, including a dash of Mozart and a heaping helping of Verdi. Saturday’s performance will be held at 6 p.m. at Legacy Church (7201 Central NW), and Sunday’s will be at 2 p.m. at the National Hispanic Cultural Center (1701 Fourth Street SW).
