Friday 15 Mummy Marathon (TCM 6 p.m.) It’s classic horror movies all month long on TCM, of course. But here’s a neat little accretion of mummy flicks. It starts out at 6 p.m. with 1959’s The Mummy and races through several not as good, but still fun Hammer Film Productions horrors: Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb at 7:45 p.m., The Mummy’s Shroud at 9:15 p.m. and Blood from the Mummy’s Tomb at 11 p.m. Stick around for Blood . It’s got Valerie Leon in it. You’ll thank me for that. “School Pride” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) Because “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition But With Schools Instead” was too long. “Smallville” (KWBQ-19 7 p.m.) Two hundred episodes and still no costume? Saturday 16 Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster (Cartoon Network 8 p.m.) These live-action Scooby-Doo! movies have grown increasingly … what’s the word? Crappy? Yeah, crappy . In this one, Velma is Japanese and the director is Brian Levant ( Beethoven, The Flintstones, Jingle All the Way, Are We There Yet?, The Spy Next Door ). What’s next? A CGI Scrappy-Doo? “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp” (VH1 Classic 8 p.m.) What’s sadder than some middle-aged dude getting pants-stuffing advice from Ace Frehley? You watching some middle-aged dude getting pants-stuffing advice from Ace Frehley. Sunday 17 “Luther” (BBC America 8 p.m.) Hotshot actor Idris Elba (from “The Wire” and “The Office”) stars in this Brit-based “psycho thriller” series about a brilliant detective tormented by the dark side of humanity. (In other words: He hunts serial killers.) Monday 18 “Rock of Love Girls: Where Are They Now?” (VH1 7 p.m.) Wait. You are being rhetorical, aren’t you? Tuesday 19 “Tower Prep””scream 2010” (Cartoon Network 9 p.m.) This Canadian-American co-production boasts a rather freaky premise. A bunch of rebellious teenagers wake up in a mysterious prison-like prep school from which there appears to be no escape. It’s like Harry Potter mixed with HBO’s “Oz.” As if that weren’t awesome enough, it’s produced and created by Paul Dini (“Batman: The Animated Series”) and Glen Morgan (“The X-Files”). “Scream 2010” (Spike 7 p.m.) Awards go to the scariest and sexiest Hollywood has to offer. “Freak Encounters” (Animal Planet 8:30 p.m.) We really don’t need another cryptozoology show. The woods are already overrun with people looking for mothmen and chupacabras. So, instead, this show is a rip off of “Scare Tactics.” It’s a hidden camera prank show that tricks people into thinking they’re hunting for monsters. Instead, they’re being punk’d by AnPlan. Wednesday 20 “That’s Tough!” (G4 9:30 p.m.) G4’s new clip show counts down the toughest of the tough: cops, guns, banks, prisons, whatever. So long as it’s manly looking.
