Thursday 21 “Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert for Autism Education” (Comedy Central 10 p.m.) Jon Stewart hosts and half the comedians in the business show up to make with the funny. Friday 22 My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 2 (MTV 11 p.m.) MTV continues making fake movies out of its “real” reality shows. The Boogens (TCM 12:30 a.m.) TCM digs an awesomely obscure bit of ephemera from the pop cultural trash bin with this 1981 monster movie. It’s not available on DVD and long forgotten by most, but it had a memorable ad campaign and holds a happy place in the minds of people who love toothy monsters who crawl up out of abandoned mineshafts to eat teenagers. Saturday 23 Victorious: The Boy Who Cried Werewolf (Nickelodeon 6 p.m.) Miley Cyrus-in-waiting Victoria Justice gets a feature film spin-off of her popular TV series just in time for Halloween. Growing the Big One (Hallmark 7 p.m.) Small-town disc jockey Shannen Doherty enters a pumpkin-growing contest to save her late grandfather’s farm. … No, I didn’t just make that up as a joke. Sunday 24 “First Life With David Attenborough” (Discovery 7 p.m.) The name David Attenborough is like candy to nature geeks. Here, the famed British naturalist with the soothing voice traces the evolution of Earth’s first animals. Monday 25 “Robotomy” (Cartoon Network 9:45 p.m.) Two young robots, only slightly less insane than all the other ultra-powerful killbots who populate their planet, try to navigate high school in CN’s newest toon. “American Restoration” (History 7 p.m.) This new docureality show about Rick Dale, the dude who restores all the old stuff for the guys on “Pawn Stars,” was originally titled “Rusty Nuts.” Which sounds like the worst porn name ever. Too bad they changed it to this blandly descriptive title. “American Pickers.” “American Chopper.” We get it. They’re not dirty foreigners. “Dead Set” (IFC 10 p.m.) IFC imports this clever 2008 British miniseries for the month of October. Ever wonder what would happen if a zombie virus got loose on the set of the reality show “Big Brother”? I’m just wishing it could have happened over on “Jersey Shore.” Tuesday 26 “Glee” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) The cast of “Glee” does Rocky Horror for Halloween. “Dance Cam Slam” (VH1 8 p.m.) A weekly dance competition in which contestants film themselves on their home webcams? It’s like Chatroulette … but worse. And with less penis. “Auction Kings” (Discovery 8 p.m.) Cool. Too bad TLC beat you to the punch with “Auctioneer$.” Wednesday 27 “I’d Do Anything” (BBC America 7 p.m.) After casting his last two shows via reality show competitions (“How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?” and “Any Dream Will Do”), Andrew Lloyd Webber looks to do it again with a revival of Oliver! “Hollywood Treasures” (SyFy 8 p.m.) Cool. Too bad TLC and Discovery beat you to the punch with “Auctioneer$” and “Auction Kings.”
