Thursday 6 “Wipeout” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) ABC’s goofball game show kicks off its fourth season with a “Winter Wipeout” special. People in Santa suits. Fake snow. That kinda stuff. Friday 7 “Your OWN Show: Oprah’s Search for the Next TV Star” (OWN 7 p.m.) Oprah starts her own network and already she’s trying to fill it up with no-name idiots clamoring for a talk show? Saturday 8 Change of Plans (KASA-2 7 p.m.) “American Idol” loser Brooke White stars in this family movie about a woman who suddenly finds herself the guardian of her best friend’s four kids. “Idol” judge Randy Jackson and Nascar driver Jeff Burton have cameo appearances. Middle America, this one’s aimed at you! Sunday 9 “Bob’s Burgers” (KASA-2 7:30 p.m.) Hip voice talent H. Jon Benjamin (“Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist,” “Home Movies,” “Aqua Teen Hunger Force,” “Family Guy,” “Lucy: The Daughter of the Devil,” “Archer”) lends his overworked pipes to Bob, a second-generation restaurateur who has big dreams for his crummy, family-owned greasy spoon. “Californication” (Showtime 7 p.m.) After taking all of 2009 off, drunken womanizer Hank Moody (David Duchovny) returns to face the music of last season. “The Cape” (KOB-4 8 p.m.) TV has a poor track record on superhero shows, but this series—about a cop who fights crime with the help of a magical cape—at least looks sincere. “The Wild Within” (Travel 7 p.m.) Survivalist (seriously, how is this a career?) Steven Rinella goes where no man (aside from fellow TV survivalists Bear Grylls and Les Stroud) has gone before. “Episodes” (Showtime 7:30 p.m.) Hey, Lisa Kudrow got to star in a wacky, self-referential TV series about a deluded actress (“The Comeback”). Why not Matt LeBlanc? Monday 10 “The X Life” (VH1 8 p.m.) The rest of the world stopped trying to shoehorn the letter “X” into every movie, book or TV show title back in 1998—right about the time we all stopped wearing our baseball caps sideways. Now, I realize that this show is about extreme sports athletes and their significant others—basically, “Real Housewives of the X Games.” But still, VH1. Using the letter X does not make you Xtreme. Tuesday 11 “Green Hornet” (Syfy 8 a.m.) Syfy celebrates the release of the new Green Hornet movie by airing a 13-hour marathon of the 1966 superhero series starring Bruce Lee and somebody else. “Lights Out” (FX 11 p.m.) Are boxing dramas suddenly hot in the wake of possible Oscar-contender The Fighter ? We’ll see when FX debuts this show about a retired boxer struggling to support his family by working for a local criminal kingpin. “Onion SportsDome” (Comedy Central 11:30 p.m.) Satirical newspaper The Onion enters the televisual realm with this fake sports roundup. “Let’s Stay Together” (BET 9 p.m.) This new series about a hubby and wife balancing work and family is being billed as “an urban ‘Mad About You’.” Which is confusing, because “Mad About You” took place in New York City. Wednesday 12 “Off the Map” (KOAT-7 9 p.m.) Shonda Rhimes (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “Private Practice”) goes a whole new direction with this series about hot, young doctors who spend more time trying to sleep with one another than … huh. My mistake. Same old crap.
