Garbage is the theme this week. If you're interested in manufacturing your own Christmas gifts this year, consider stopping by the Harwood this Saturday, Nov. 15, from 1 to 5 p.m. for Phoenix Forrester's doll-making workshop. Forrester, an Albuquerque-based mixed-media artist and jeweler, will be showing students how to create their own non-traditional dolls out of found objects. Students are required to bring several found objects to use as the main body for their doll, old photos for the face, and E-6000 or other glue of your choice. (Not for sniffing.) Cost for the class is $45 plus tax. Call 243-1937 or email phoenix@phoenixforrester.com to register.
