The vague and oft confusing realm commonly known as the unknown can teach us more than we realize—if we let it. Understanding life's accidents can fill in the blanks that everyday, structured reality delivers. At least that's the belief held by the artists featured in the new aldizorontophoskyphorniostikos: beauty in all things exhibit.

This exhibit displays the work of UNM student Mariah Williamson, actress/director Marcia Tippit, NASA mathematician Lee H. Skinner, dinosaur painter Roxanne Witt and others, each of whom has their own unique take on art and the abstract. Get a peek inside the brain of artists who are not afraid of things they don't necessarily understand. aldizorontophoskyphorniostikos: beauty in all things begins on Tuesday, June 2, with a reception on Friday, June 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. Runs through July 1. 848-1320.
