Thursday 27

“Community” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) The annual Halloween episode is always a fine time to check in on NBC’s criminally underrated sitcom.

“Beavis and Butt-Head” (MTV 11 p.m.) Holy 1995, Batman! Mike Judge’s cartoon idiots return to MTV. Cornholio lives!

“Project Accessory” (Lifetime 8:32 p.m.) Like a college roommate using your tube top as a party dress, Lifetime stretches the concept of “Project Runway” all out of shape with this reality show competition spin-off. In it, contestants make belts and handbags and … other accessories of some sort.

Friday 28

“Chuck” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) I like “Chuck,” but NBC’s spy-fi comedy has never been very confident in its concept, juggling characters and premises almost every season. For this, the show’s final season, Chuck and pals are a bunch of freelance spies-for-hire.

“Grimm” (KOB-4 8 p.m.) Cops hunt fairy tale monsters in NBC’s new fantasy series.

“Brides of Beverly Hills” (TLC 8 p.m.) I may be nearly alone in my opinion, TV, but no matter how many times and in how many combinations you throw the words “bride/brides/bridal” and “Beverly Hills” at me, I am not watching your stupid, hissy-fit-prone reality shows.

Saturday 29

Possessing Piper Rose (Lifetime 6 p.m.) Since this Exorcist knockoff is airing on Lifetime, I’m assuming the young lady being possessed by Satan is either a breast cancer survivor or dating a psycho she met on the Internet.

The Good Witch’s Family (Hallmark 7 p.m.) Catherine Bell returns as a small-town witch in Hallmark’s once-a-year movies series.

Zombie Apocalypse (Syfy 7 p.m.) I appreciate, Syfy, that you’re giving us actual zombies instead of natural disasters or giant CGI animals for Halloween. But does it have to be as distressingly generic as Zombie Apocalypse ?

Sunday 30

“Allen Gregory” (KASA-2 7:30 p.m.) Jonah Hill ( Superbad ) is the creator of this new cartoon about an annoyingly pretentious 7-year-old forced to attend public school after his two gay dads go broke.

Monday 31

“Scared Shrekless” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) Seriously? The only Halloween special airing on network television Halloween night is based on Shrek ? Trick!

“Ghost Hunters Live!” (Syfy 5 p.m.) It’s Halloween, and you know what that means: Six hours’ worth of ghost hunters wandering around in the dark, shouting, “What was that?!?”

“Rock Center With Brian Williams” (KOB-4 9 p.m.) I bet Brian is pretty pissed that “30 Rock” was already taken. Because “Rock Center” sounds stupid. Plus, nobody has ever called it that.

Tuesday 1

“War, Women & Peace” (KNME-5 8 p.m.) PBS’ five-part documentary series examines how war affects women and vice versa.

“Friendzone” (MTV 8 p.m.) MTV’s newest dating show features best friends who want to “take it to the next level.” … Friends with benefits?

Wednesday 2

“MythBusters Dirty Dozen” (Discovery 7 p.m.) The MythBusters declassify their top 10 testing locations (some of which are right here in New Mexico) and give viewers the inside scoop.
