Wavy Gravy gets the biopic treatment. “Swamp People: Swampsgiving” (History 7 p.m.) While you’re watching this one-hour holiday special, do yourself a favor and don’t ask what’s in the stuffing. You don’t want to know. “Big Shrimpin’” (History 8 p.m.) Let’s skip past the oxymoron of the title and get straight to the heart of the matter. When basic cable networks have ripped off “Deadliest Catch” so much that we’re now reduced to watching a docu-reality show about shrimp fishing, it’s time to stop. “Psychic Gold Hunt” (National Geographic 7 p.m.) Three psychics are challenged to use their talents to hunt for treasure. Why weren’t they doing this before? Friday 18 “Batman: The Brave and the Bold” (Cartoon Network 8 p.m.) CN’s zesty-fun Batman-oriented toon comes to an end with a final, Batmite-centric episode. Fitting. Saturday 19 A Christmas Wedding Tail (Hallmark 4 p.m.) Two dogs fall in love, inspiring their owners to hook up over the holidays. Dogs, Christmas, weddings: Good lord, Hallmark, there are people in Japan who would think this movie is too cute to stomach. And they buy Hello Kitty condoms. “Pixie Hollow Games” (Disney 8 p.m.) Tinkerbell and her fellow fairies gather for an Olympic, tournament-style sporting event. … What the what? The Case for Christmas (Hallmark 6 p.m.) Santa Claus gets sued. Dean Cain is involved. … Jeez, Hallmark, I realize you’ve got a pretty heavy stake in the holidays, but ease off a little, why don’t you? “Walking the Amazon” (Discovery 7 p.m.) Two explorers set out to walk the length of the Amazon. Which sounds impressive. Until you realize that’s more than 4,300 miles. Then it just sounds crazy. “Tattooed in Detroit” (Animal Planet 7 p.m.) So, apparently, Detroit tattoo artist Tom Renshaw does very nice pictures of animals, which is as good an explanation as you’re going to get why this is on AnPlan. Sunday 20 “2011 American Music Awards” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5: the usual suspects. A Christmas Wish (Hallmark 7 p.m.) Hallmark … “Alton’s Countdown to T-Day” (Food Network 6 p.m.) Really, if you want somebody to help out in the kitchen, Alton Brown is the guy to call. “Curiosity: Your Body on Drugs Hosted by Robin Williams” (Discovery 7 p.m.) OK. I’m very curious now. Monday 21 “The Layover” (Travel 7 p.m.) For his new travel-and-eats show, Anthony Bourdain checks out cities on a strict, one-day, airport-layover time schedule—starting with Singapore. “You Deserve It” (KOAT-7 8:01 p.m.) By that I presume they’re not talking to us, the audience, regarding this lame game show in which people try to win money for other people. Tuesday 22 “Jeff Dunham: Birth of a Dummy” (Biography 6 p.m.) Ever wonder how Jeff Dunham got to be the stinking rich, world famous, not particularly funny ventriloquist he is today? Me neither. Wednesday 23 Level Up (Cartoon Network 5 p.m.) CN’s newest movie is a live-action/CGI blend about a group of friends who must save the day when a horde of monsters escapes from their favorite video game .
