Thursday 19

“The Great American Manhunt” (National Geographic 7 p.m.) Nope, not a dating show on Logo, but a sort of reality game show for forensic detectives.

“Not Safe For Work” (truTV 7 p.m.) Finally! A place to see all those crotch-kicking, skateboard-busting web videos I can’t get anywhere … other than my home computer … and “Web Soup” … and “Tosh.0” … and “Attack of the Show” … and “Ridiculousness.”

“Kenny and Zoltan’s Venom Quest” (National Geographic 8 p.m.) Honestly, I’d rather not know what this show is about and just leave it to vie for the most enigmatically awesome title of all time.

“Kathy” (Bravo 8 p.m.) Bravely heterosexual gay icon Kathy Griffith has done the standup thing and the reality show thing, so the only thing left for Bravo to do is give her a talk show.

Friday 20

“The Ricky Gervais Show” (HBO 7 p.m.) Few things tickle me more than watching Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant torture their friend, the “little round-headed buffoon” Karl Pilkington. Check out the third season premiere tonight.

“Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country” (CMT 10 p.m.) I suspect that, had BET given her a reality show, former “Beverly Hills 90210” alum Jennie Garth would happily have been “A Little Bit Urban.”

Saturday 21

Alien Tornado (Syfy 7 p.m.) Ha, ha, ha. Touché, Syfy. After months and months of listening to me complain about lame, weather-related movies ( Earthstorm, Ice Quake, Ice Twisters, NYC: Tornado Terror, Seattle Superstorm, Snowmageddon, Storm War ), you’ve finally found a way to shoehorn some science fiction in there. It’s not just a tornado … it’s an alien tornado.

Sunday 22

“FOX’s 25 th Anniversary Special” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Is it too much to hope for a cast reunion of “The New Adventures of Beans Baxter”? It is? Thought so.

“Veep” (HBO 8 p.m.) In this “fly on the wall” comedy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays the first female vice president of the U.S. This was supposed to be a remake of creator Armando Iannucci’s satirical BBC mockumentary “The Thick of It,” but it kinda morphed into something a bit more … American.

Monday 23

“Where Are They Now: The Cast of Married … With Children” (TV Guide 7 p.m.) Well, I’m pretty sure they’re over on FOX for that 25 th anniversary special.

Tuesday 24

“The L.A. Complex” (KWBQ-6 8 p.m.) An aspiring actress moves to L.A. and ends up in a trendy apartment complex full of hot twentysomethings. Think of this as “Melrose Place,” only … uh, filmed for Canadian television and then imported to The CW as a cheap schedule-filler.

Wednesday 25

“Total Blackout” (Syfy 8 p.m.) Jaleel White is back! Not only is the former “Family Matters” dork a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars,” he’s also hosting this “extreme” game show on Syfy. In it, contestants are asked to perform a series of tasks in complete darkness. Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Russia and Sweden already have hit versions of this show. … Without the benefit of the man who played Steve Urkel, it must be noted. Sucks to be Norway.
