Thursday 17
“BTK: Killer Next Door” (TLC 7 p.m.) Congrats to The Learning Channel for winning the 50-yard dash to whip out the very first documentary about the life of freshly-nabbed serial murderer the BTK Killer.
Friday 18
“The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” (Disney 8 p.m.) Just like Carlyle habitué Madeline, Zack and Cody live in a fancy hotel and have lots of wacky adventures. The difference being that, well, they're boys and there's two of them.
Saturday 19
The Ten Commandments (KOAT-7 6 p.m.) “Where's your Messiah now? … Oh, there he is.”
“LAX” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) NBC's ratings-deficient airplane drama finally lands after several months in a holding pattern. Fans (all 12 of you), don't get too comfortable. The network is just trying to burn off a few of the episodes they already paid for.
Cool Money (USA 7 p.m.) James Marsters (Spike from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) returns in this TV movie about a young guy conned into helping out with a daring hotel robbery.
…Sometimes in April (HBO 9 p.m.) HBO follows up on Hotel Rwanda's devastating account of the ethnic cleansing in Rwanda with this heartbreaking drama directed by Haitian-born director Raoul Peck, who gave us the politically charged Lumumba.
Sunday 20
Spring Break Shark Attack (KRQE-13 8 p.m.) Normally geriatric CBS gets all young and hip circa 1986 with this bluntly titled bikini bloodbath. Bryan Brown and Kathy Baker star. I think you can work out the plot yourself.
“Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real” (Animal Planet 6 p.m.) AnPlan gets a bit mythical in the biology department, digging into the legends of dragons, which are common to many cultures around the globe. Not to mention many bumper stickers at S.C.A. gatherings around the globe.
Monday 21
“Hollywood Hold 'Em” (E! 9 p.m.) Don't movie stars have anything better to do these days? I mean, shouldn't they be making movies or something?
Las Vegas Garden of Love (ABC Family 7:30 p.m.) What would be wackier than a reality series about a family of rock stars or bounty hunters or morticians? … Um. Give us a minute. … How about Las Vegas wedding chapel operators? … Eh, it'll do for now.
Tuesday 22
“The 2005 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony” (MTV 7 p.m.) This year's inductees include Percy Sledge, The O'Jays, The Pretenders, U2 and Frank Barsalona. No offense, Frank; but if I were working security, I'd stop you at the door. Who are you?
Wednesday 23
“Life on a Stick” (KASA-2 7:30 p.m.) Two slackers graduate from high school and get jobs at a hot dog stand in the mall. At least there's a new hot chick to ogle (Rachelle Lefevre). Former hot chick Amy Yasbeck (“Wings”) has been demoted to Mom duty.
