Thursday 30“Review” (Comedy Central 11pm) CC’s mockumentary series staring Andy Daly as overly enthusiastic “life experience” critic Forest MacNeill wraps up with a series finale. Given the number of times this character has almost died over the last three seasons (from “Marrying a Stranger” to “Being Irish” to “Eating a Locorito”), I don’t hold out much hope for the dope.Friday 31 “13 Reasons Why” (Netflix streaming anytime) Jay Asher’s popular YA novel gets adapted as a teen drama about a high school girl who commits suicide and leaves behind a series of tapes explaining the various contributing factors to her death.“Five Came Back” (Netflix streaming anytime) This intriguing, three-part documentary series looks at the front line, World War II experiences of American film directors John Ford, William Wyler, John Huston, Frank Capra and George Stevens.“Grimm” (KOB-4 7pm) NBC’s fairy tale-based crime drama offers up its series finale, in which Portland homicide investigator Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) must defeat the monstrous Wesen, once and for all.Saturday 1Love At First Bark (Hallmark 7pm) A single woman (Jana Kramer) with an out-of-control German shepherd turns to a handsome dog trainer (Kevin McGarry) for help. Naturally, they fall in love. The girl and the trainer. Not to dog and the trainer. At least I don’t think so.Sunday 2“The 52nd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards” (KRQE-13 6pm) Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town perform. All the usual suspects.“Sunday Night Baseball: MLB Opening Night” (ESPN 6:30pm) The World Series-winning Chicago Cubs (still can’t believe it) start off the new season by facing down the St. Louis Cardinals. The Kennedys: After Camelot (Reelz 7pm) Reelz figures it can still milk the Kennedy clan for drama, even after the assassinations of JFK and Bobby Kennedy. Hence, we have miniseries sequel in which Jackie (Katie Holmes) marries shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis and Ted Kennedy (Matthew Perry!) tries a little drunk driving.Monday 3“Meow Madness” (Hallmark 6pm) I warned you it was coming: Two hours of adorable “cat-letes” with names like “Kevin Purr-ant” taking to the basketball court for games such as “flea throw.” Tuesday 4“Prison Break” (KRQEDT2 8pm) A mere eight years after it went off the air, FOX’s action series returns for a fifth season. Having broken out of prisons in Illinois, Panama and Florida, the characters find themselves (once again) incarcerated and ready to break out. This time they’re in the Middle East.Wednesday 5“Archer: Dreamland” (FXX 8pm) FXX’s animated and occasionally raunchy James Bond spoof has displayed a tendency to experiment lately (such as season 5’s “Miami Vice”-style reboot). But this newest season marks a serious departure, sending its hero into a film noir-style, 1930s detective setting.“Brockmire” (IFC 8pm) Years after his epic, on-air meltdown, loudmouthed sportscaster Jim Brockmire is hired to announce games for a minor league baseball team. Star Hank Azaria has done this character in several different forms over the years.“Talk Show The Game Show” (truTV 8pm) Comedian/writer Guy Branum’s atypical talk show forces celebrity guests to compete in various talk show-inspired challenges, after which they are judged and awarded points for their performances.
