“Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return” (Netflix streaming anytime) The second season of the new “MST3K” gets an appropriate Turkey Day debut on Netflix.

“’Tis the Season: A One Tree Hill Cast Reunion” (Lifetime 8:03pm) Hilarie Burton, Robert Buckley, Danneel Ackles and Antwon Tanner, a handful of the stars of the old CW soaper “One Tree Hill,” are starring in the Lifetime holiday movie The Christmas Contract. So, Lifetime went ahead and assembled this “reunion” special. Super fans of the basketball-playing Scott family will no doubt be tuning in.

“2018 Best Driver’s Car” (MotorTrend 3pm) Velocity, the network you’ve only heard about if you’re a major motorsports enthusiast, gets rebranded as MotorTrend, named after the long-running magazine. Here’s their first new show. It’s about cars.

Every Day Is Christmas (Lifetime 6pm) Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol gets its umpteenth reworking with singer Toni Braxton (sure, why not) as the money-grubbing workaholic who “humbugs” love and gets a visit from her past, present and future.

“2018 Soul Train Awards” (BET 6pm) Donald Glover is nominated, but then so is Justin Bieber, so …

“Dirty John” (USA/E!/Bravo/Oxygen 9pm/10pm/11pm/11pm) The popular true crime podcast makes the leap to TV. Connie Britton stars as a woman who falls in love with a charismatic con man (Eric Bana).

The Truth About Killer Robots (HBO 8pm) This HBO original documentary examines how robots are taking over human jobs. To drive home the point, the film is narrated by Kodomoroid, a lifelike Japanese android.

Tuesday 27

“Goatface: A Comedy Special” (Comedy Central 8pm) Former “Daily Show” correspondent Hasan Minhaj’s sketch comedy troupe gets its own Comedy Central special.

Wednesday 28

“86th Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center” (KOB-4 7pm) Diana Ross, Tony Bennett, John Legend and Pentatonix (god, those a cappella kids are like black mold; you can’t get rid of them) ring in the holiday season in NYC.

“A Legendary Christmas With John and Chrissy” (KOB-4 9pm) Ever wonder how John Legend and Chrissy Teigan celebrate Christmas? Ah, you know, hangin’ out with pals like Stevie Wonder, Kenan Thompson and Zach Galifianakis, singin’ songs and performing seasonal sketches—just like all the rest of us.
