The Pittsburg-born journalist was most famous for engaging in a record-breaking round-the-world trip, circa 1888 (she made it in 72 days, beating Phileas Fogg’s fictional accomplishment). Before that, though, she went undercover to expose conditions in New York’s Women’s Lunatic Asylum. Here, Christina Ricci stars as the pioneering investigative journalist.Saturday Night Fever: The Ultimate Disco Movie (Reelz 7pm) I mean, it’s hard to argue. In 21st century America, the best treatment for that is to get your own reality show.Wednesday 23“Knight Fight” (History 8:01pm) As far as ridiculous reality show competitions go, this “medieval MMA” show sounds pretty awesome. The full-contact Armored Combat League lets modern-day warriors suit up in authentic ancient armor and wield real steal weapons in order to pound on one another in the arena. Each episode features a different set of “era-specific” getups. Tonight’s premiere features Vikings vs. Byzantines.
