Three actors and three chairs fill the stage for Irish playwright Abbie Spallen’s gas station drama Pumpgirl at Mother Road Theatre Company (6320 Domingo Rd. NE Ste. B) on Friday, May 17. Don’t miss this final production of Mother Road’s 11th season, where the main character is billed as one “who walks like John Wayne and looks like his horse.” The black humor and blue language are sure to leave you with gasoline-soaked dreams of Irish borderland storytelling.
