Hobo-a-Go-Go—Self-described filmmaker and tramp Bill Daniel has (rather appropriately) taken to the road to show off his newly completed, 16-years-in-the-making documentary about the secret of hobo and railworker graffiti.
Who is Bozo Texino? has been wowing East Coast audiences over the summer and is making its way westward this fall. Thanks to local cinemaniacs Basement Films, the tour will hit Albuquerque's Guild Cinema on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. Also on the bill is Saul Rouda's “Waldo Point,” a 20-minute portrait of life in a Sausalito hippie houseboat community, and Vanessa Renwick's “Britton, South Dakota,” a found-footage montage of Depression-era children. Tickets are a mere $6 at the door. For more info on the films, you can log on to billdaniel.net
