Thursday 13

“Office Webisodes” (www.nbc.com) Yeah, it’s not really on TV, but TV is full of reruns right now, so NBC is trying a little something different by posting a 10-episode miniseries made up of three-minute story arcs featuring bit players from NBC’s “The Office.”

“Commander Castle” (A&E 8 p.m.) This new reality series introduces viewers to Paul Castle, a hard-nosed British police commander who is hired to apply his unorthodox techniques toward transforming troubled American police departments. (One quick note: Yelling at people is pretty much orthodox.)

Friday 14

“The Science of Stargate” (Sci-Fi 6 p.m.) Sci-Fi Channel kicks off an evening of “Stargate: SG-1” and “Stargate: Atlantis” premieres with this special detailing the, ahem , “science” behind the hit shows.

Saturday 15

“Saturday Night’s Main Event” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) It’s hard for me to believe this show is back on the air after 13 years. Back in the day, it used to sub for “Saturday Night Live” reruns. I remember in 1985 when Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan defeated King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd. They don’t make ’em like that anymore.

Sunday 16

“Return of the Pirates” (History 7 p.m.) Pirates aren’t simply confined to the musty pages of history. Turns out they’re making a big comeback these days, particularly in the Middle East and in South Asian waters. Sure, it has a terrible economic impact. But still: cool career choice.

“Angela’s Eyes” (Lifetime 8 p.m.) Lifetime ads one of those plucky, principled female police officers to its lineup. Abigail Spencer of “All My Children” stars.

Monday 17

Hell’s Angels on Wheels (Speed 7 p.m.) I gotta give those Speed boys credit for digging up some classic B-grade drive-in movie fodder lately. Hell’s Angels founder Sonny Barger said this 1967 flick was the most accurate of the sleazy ’60s biker pics–which, I suppose, is kinda like the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.

“Driving Force” (A&E 8 p.m.) Championship drag racer John Force has four hot daughters, all of whom are following in his footsteps. … And it took him this long to land a reality show?

Tuesday 18

“Eureka” (Sci-Fi 7 p.m.) Sci-Fi’s new comedy/drama takes us to an isolated small town in the Pacific Northwest populated entirely by scientific geniuses.

“The One: The Making of a Music Star” (KOAT-7 8 p.m.) How could you possibly improve on the format of “American Idol”? How about making all the contestants live together in one crowded, tension-filled house, just like every other reality show on TV? … I would have said “firing squad,” but I guess this will have to do.

Wednesday 19

“Work Out” (Bravo 9 p.m.) Having milked an upscale L.A. hair salon for all its catty drama, prima donna behavior and sexual tension in “Blow Out,” Bravo takes the next logical reality show step: milking an upscale L.A. gym for all its catty drama, prima donna behavior and sexual tension.
