It’s a busy week over at VSA’s North Fourth Art Center (4904 Fourth Street NW). First off, a collaborative dance and music project with Bach tunes by cellist Timothee Marcel enhanced with dance by Julie Brette Adams and Kate Eberle will occur in the N4 th Theater for one night only on Friday, Aug. 3, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 general, $12 students/seniors. Then an exhibit showcasing photography by Native youth, ages 11 to 14, opens this Saturday, Aug. 4, at 4 p.m. Later that same evening is the multisensory Vision and Vibration concert (see this week’s Alibi Picks page). American Buffalo
Frank Melcori is directing a new production of David Mamet’s American Buffalo at the Vortex Theatre in October, and he’s looking for stage talents just like you.
