Father and Son— Baritone Hyung Yun’s father, Chi Ho Yun, was diagnosed with terminal cancer last year. One of his dreams before he dies is to share the stage with his son. The two famed Korean opera singers will do just that this Sunday afternoon, Nov. 12, with a concert at the Santa Fe Opera’s Stieren Hall. The show starts at 3 p.m. $10 at the door. The Stage is Yours— Slip into your finest pair of acting tights. The Vortex Theatre (2004 1/2 Central SE) is holding auditions for an upcoming production of Jane Chambers’ Last Summer at Bluefish Cove this Saturday, Nov. 11, from noon to 3 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 13, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Eight women of varying ages are needed. Now That’s Italian— Albuquerque artists Tina Garcia and Marian Berg recently returned from Europe. When they got back to New Mexico, they began a series of paintings and drawings inspired by their travels. The results go on display this weekend at the Harwood Art Center (1114 Seventh Street NW). The show opens with a reception this Friday, Nov. 10, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. and runs through the end of the month. For more information, call 242-6367.
