Consider Exhibit 51, a relatively new contemporary art venue located at 5100 Juan Tabo NE. The best time to check out the gallery's swank digs is the third Thursday of each month, when Exhibit 51 hosts “X-Press-Oh” a monthly music and art event.
This Thursday, June 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. you can gaze into the abstract and figurative creations of Enrico Embroli, Wiley War and Gino Miles in a show called Uncommon Crossroads. The evening will also feature music by jazz guitarist Tony Cesarano.
Refreshments and dessert will be provided. Roll on up to the outer limits of Albuquerque. It's an alien culture, but I think you'll find that the little green gentlemen and ladies who live up there are fine folk. And the art ain't bad either.
